For many passionate horse lovers, horses are our partners and best teachers. This is especially true for Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) Professionals and other equine professionals. The better we understand horses, the better questions we can ask, and the faster we can guide our clients to transformation.
This workshop is specially designed for passionate coaches and others to delve deep into the unique and individual characteristics of horses. This workshop will help you learn more about horse behavior, strengthen your horsemanship and observation skills, and connect more deeply with your equine partners. As you know, horses have profound wisdom to share, but if you don’t see it, it cannot reach your client or YOU. I see many EAL practitioners with great coaching skills and not-so-great horsemanship skills. I also see the opposite. This workshop will help ensure that everyone has the tools they need to feel confident. This workshop is perfect for experienced EAL professionals looking to deepen their skills, new practitioners desiring a solid horsemanship foundation, and other passionate horse lovers looking to go beyond traditional training methods. All work is unmounted.
In Equine Behavior, Insights & Horsemanship Excellence, you will learn:
- Horse Behavior & Horsemanship Basics – how horses move, what motivates them, how to read horse behavior and expression, and how to use your body as a sensor
- Safe Handling Practices inside the barn, the arena and in the field and what NOT to do!
- How to Pick the Right Horse for the job and how to design the right job for the horse
You will come away:
- EAGER to share your new learning!
I’ve worked with horses for over 30-years as a rider, competitor, trainer, and breeder. I also worked to rehabilitate, retrain and rehome ex-racehorses, ran a boarding facility, and designed my own successful EAL program, Alpha Horse Leadership Training for HUMANS™, which is featured in my Amazon best-seller Take the Reins! 7 Secrets to Inspired Leadership.
Our work has been showcased on multiple media outlets including FOX5 TV (see video below). I’ve learned from the school of hard knocks and have crashed and burned many times. I want to spare you this pain! In addition to my own riding/training experience, I’m also certified through the Equine Experiential Education Association (E3A), was an Equine Specialist through EAGALA, studied with Linda Kohanov and her EPONA and Power of the Herd methods, worked through Parelli’s basics, and have taken many workshops in equine behavior. I’ve also dabbled in Reiki and animal communication and studied the chakras.
Come join us for this special Workshop and dive deep into a more meaningful relationship with your equine partners! Class size is limited so Register Below today to reserve your spot. $897 includes lunch. Feel free to CONTACT ME with any questions. My horses are fantastic teachers (scroll down to see some client comments) and we love to share our work – I hope to see YOU!
